Traditions abound at Christmas, and no two people share the same set of holiday activities. Maybe you go ice skating, cut your own tree, or make sure you put all twenty-eight inflatables in the front lawn. The wonderful thing about Christmas, is that all the traditions make us…us.
Churches have traditions as well, some going back 2000 years, but no matter how a church celebrates Christmas, it all focuses on a solitary baby. Jesus, the Son of God, come to earth as a gift to all mankind. And what a party was thrown on that night in Bethlehem! Angels were proclaiming and praise was being given that God had reached down to earth to redeem His people.
We would love for you to join us at one of our Christmas Gatherings. These will be opportunities to focus wholly on Jesus, singing songs about His arrival and hearing scripture that spoke of His coming to earth. There are four opportunities for you to join us; December 22 and 23 at 6:30 PM and December 24 at either 4:30 PM or 6:30 PM. We would love to give you a few quiet moments this hectic Christmas season to remember the reason we all can be joyful, and that is Jesus Christ, God among us.
