“I worship because God IS.”

This quote from Robert Webber sums up the Worship/Arts Ministry lead by Brady Gerdts at Rockingham Christian Church.  Genuine, heartfelt worship is an effect of observing God’s divine, special and general revelation to His creation here on earth.  He is great, therefore we worship.  He is faithful, therefore we worship.  He is loving, therefore we worship.  He reveals Himself to us, His creation, for the sole purpose of having a relationship with Him.  That’s what He desires, therefore…we worship…through song, through art, through dance, through media and through drama.  These are ways that we can show our adoration and understanding of Him.  He is worthy of our worship, therefore…we worship.
